F+U plans to offer a Studienkolleg for international university applicants whose university entrance qualification is not equivalent to Abitur (German high school diploma) and who cannot enter German universities directly. Expected start date: summer semester 2020.
The programme is two semesters long. University applicants will be able to attend the following specialization courses according to their chosen university subject: T-course (for mathematical-scientific or technical subjects), W-course (for economic and social science subjects) and M-course (for medical, biological and pharmaceutical subjects).
By passing the Feststellungsprüfung (university admission examination) at the end of the programme, international applicants can obtain a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification for all German universities. Studienkolleg graduates can also continue their education at the hwtk | University of Applied Sciences or the iba | University of Cooperative Education.
